Damn I was down to 2 potties. I found the gold pig secret..ran around for too long and I died :)
Nearly there!
Wohoo! Congratulations! Now you have the skills and knowledge to complete the zone. Maybe the 2 potties are those guarded by the hidden passages (and that the PIG-OF-GOLD opens)?
I could see one in the PIG-OF-GOLD area. I kept trying the portals there but they all shot me to the start (I guess that's where the exit will be). That means I'm still missing one...I'm so close.
Portals: correct.
Also, let's say that there are multiple (many) PIG-OF-GOLD... tiles ;)
Great to see this finally get finished, congratulations! Before I buy, though, I'd like to know if there's gonna be an actual cartridge release of this available, or is it just this digital release?
Thank you!
As much as I would love to hold a physical package of this creature of mine in my hands and even if I received various requests and a proposal from a publisher, there will not be a physical release: it isn't necessary to enjoy the game, so it's best to save the resources that producing and distributing it would require, given the environmental emergency the world is in.
Ok, very understandable, and a commendable choice. Just would've been nice to put it next to my MAH cartridge. xD But yeah, digital it is then. Thanks!
Thanks for the understanding!
Glad to know you have also MAH :)
(I must admit I regret having released a few games physically in the past, although it wasn't always my initiative.)
Game has no sound fx?
There is only 1 sound effect, which plays when a portal is used (as in that case Zampo is kind of suspended in a bubble). Other sound effects have been excluded by design to save CPU and RAM resources (as scrolling alone takes 81% of the CPU time and about 8 kB, and maps take about 30 kB).
That said, the soundtrack is very rich:
* it consists of 13 ditties and tunes: menu, intro, zone preamble, 5 zone-specific tunes, PIG-OF-GOLD mode, PIG-OF-STEEL mode, zone completion, game over, outro;
* for each zone, the music consists of 3 tunes: the zone-specific tune, the PIG-OF-STEEL mode tune and the PIG-OF-GOLD mode tune; the zone-specific tune acts as main tune, gets paused when either of the other two kicks in and resumes when it ends; the PIG-OF-STEEL mode tune has priority over the PIG-OF-GOLD mode tune; these tunes plus the game over ditty take about 4 to 5 kB (depending on the zone).
I will stream some gameplay, hopefully tomorrow. I was knee deep in some other code this evening.
I love the game so far. Haven't gotten out of factory so far but it plays very nice.
Glad you like it :)
Also, thanks for the stream! Where and when would that be?
As for the FACTORY zone, it's normal not to complete it on the first tries, but it also becomes very easy after a little bit of practice and learning all the (general) gameplay elements.

Almost made it...
Thank you! I dropped a comment with plenty of tips that will help you complete the zone ;)
Yess!! Bought!
Thanks..
Thanks a lot, and have fun!
