Guitracks

ROCK MUSIC ON YOUR AMIGA IN HIGH QUALITY

Guitracks is a guitar-centric album for AGA Amigas. It includes 6 tracks which first appeared in other RETREAM productions plus an exclusive brand-new track, for a total playing time of over 19 minutes.

1. Astray 0:49 (appeared briefly in Blastaway, 2019)
2. Mind over Heart 6:35 (2026)
3. Music Mode 0:32 (from SkillGrid, 2019)
4. Prockressions 3:19 (from Hertz Overload, 2024)
5. Sci-Fi 1:30 (from BOH, 2009)
6. The Cure 5:25 (from THE CURE, 2020)
7. Underground 1:07 (from BOH, 2009)

The tracks are not the usual tracker modules, but stereo 14-bit 55420 Hz PCM files in AQA2 format that get streamed from a mass storage device.
The tracks have been painstakingly remixed to exploit the dymamic range more, without resorting to compression and without changing the arrangements.
The Astray and Underground tracks also had drums and bass slightly rearranged in the very few places where it was musically preferrable.

Guitracks provides a graphical frontend that allows to play:
* all the tracks from the first one through the last one (PLAY ALL mode);
* all the tracks from the first one through last one in a loop (LOOP mode);
* all the tracks randomly (SHUFFLE mode);
* the tracks individually.

The frontend allows also to add one's own tracks for a total of up to 50 tracks.
